Your first order
Four lessons of words. Now do it once, with money that doesn't exist.
You don't have to pick anything yet
This is not a lesson about which share is a good one. Nobody knows that, and certainly not in your first week. It is about one thing: seeing the words from the last three lessons on a real screen once. Tap Markets at the bottom and choose a name you recognise — a shop you go to, a phone you own. Recognition is enough here, because you are not buying anything that can cost you.

Search for a name if you like. If nothing comes up, take the first one in the list. For this lesson it makes no difference.
What is on that screen
At the top there is an amount. That is the price: what one piece of that company costs right now. Under it there is a percentage with a period next to it, for example plus one percent over twenty-four hours. That is the return over that period. The line below is the same price, over the time that has passed. Three words from lessons two and three, and now you know where they live.
Buy one
Tap Buy, set the amount to one and confirm. Two things change: you have slightly less cash and you have one share. Together that is still worth about ten thousand euros, because you did not spend anything — you swapped it. Nothing leaves your real bank account, because there is no bank account attached.
In practice
If the share costs two hundred euros, you are left with nine thousand eight hundred in cash and one share worth two hundred. Ten thousand together.
Look at it again tomorrow
Under Portfolio that same share now sits there with a different number next to it. That difference is exactly what all those words are for. If it is red, nothing went wrong: that is the volatility from the last lesson, and it belongs there. One day tells you nothing about a company. That you now know where to look tells you something about you.
